   About oceanisdrowning
Profile Map

Despite the incongruent nature of their respective backgrounds, oceanisdrowning is a collaborative effort between a techno producer and a bass player that somehow works against all odds.

We take the scars given us by life and describe them with the language we know best. Our message may very well go into an empty void beyond human understanding but we accept that risk - we make music because we must. Otherwise the holes in our hearts will consume us entirely.

We must find time to trek to Kansas City so you boys and play. And the ladies will go off and find beer and video games or something. Must make progress sir. =)

Hope all is well Jeff.

I finally bought myself a tiny mp3 player, so I've been carrying around OID songs with me (I even have original versions of several :D ). I must say that I find something new to love about them every time I listen!

Please make more music soon!!

The world radio premier of oceanisdrowning occurred at ~3:30 a.m., Sunday, July 1st with Love, Marlena at the most esteemed radio station, KOPN 89.5 fm.

So it was written; so shall it be.

n. pl. chan·teys also chan·ties or shan·teys or shan·ties
A song sung by sailors to the rhythm of their movements while working.

* Just a pet peeve of mine, when ppl spell chanty, "shanty." I'm from an old pirate ville, Savannah. Arrrrg!
