Brazilian Heavy Metal band, Ocean Soul started as a solo project of singer Andrea Pietro. She called singer and composer Renato Tribuzy to write some songs using several lyrics she wrote, and then, CD "Letter of a Suicidal" was born. The project grew up so fast that Andrea decided to look for musicians to join her in a band, which has become very well known in Rio de Janeiro's underground scene, having even the opportunity to opened up for several artists, such as Tuatha de Dannan and Tribuzy itself.

Today, Ocean Soul is formed by Cesar Castro (bass), Willian Gomez and Letacio Tavares (guitars) and Andrea herself taking the lead vocals. The album "Letter of a Suicidal" was released in november 2006 (with the special guest appearances of singer Renato Tribuzy, Angra's guitar player Kiko Loureiro and Death Mountain's singer Tácito Reis) and managed to get very good reviews in specialized magazines and websites. The band is now composing songs for a new EP, not named yet and preparing to perform in several places around Brazil. Their new work will be recorded still in 2009.

Ocean Soul is just a reunion of people who still believe in the power of pure Heavy Metal, without pre-definitions, just a very heavy and loud music to make people bang their heads with all their souls!!
