Sounds Like
Tool, A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden... That good ol' 90's hard rock sound
Ocham Razor existed from late 2004 to early 2006. Upon the band's parting, their only recorded material was still in the mixing and mastering stages. Instead of simply throwing away these tracks from a departed band, drummer Jake Newkirk and bassist Dylan "Thor" Keenberg decided to finish the demo and make it available to everyone free of charge. Ocham Razor may no longer be together, but their music lives on!
Who We Were: Ocham Razor was an alt-metal band out of Frazier Park, California. Or was the band categorized as melodic hard-rock? Perhaps it was a rock-oriented group with slight jam band qualities? Regardless of the specifics, Ocham Razor was simply music; it was up to its fans to classify what was produced. Original, enjoyable compositions? Worthless garbage unpleasing to the ears? You decide, we just wrote as we saw fit, regardless of genre, standards, or guidelines.
So stay, observe our presence, and forever be OCHAM!
