I like anything to do with home improvement,I've bought and sold many pieces of real estate, I love to walk, long drives, reading, spending time with my boys,love horses, 4 wheelers, flea markets, love gardening and have a green thumb for all plants,I like to learn about businesses...how they started, how they've grown......I will someday come up with my "million dollar idea".....and you'll be able to buy it for only two easy payments of $19.95....:} I am a wannabee guitar picker...."one chord at a time....one chord at a time"

I have broad musical interests...... Lynrd Skynrd, REO, Marshall Tucker, Meat Loaf,ZZ Top, bread, Creedenace Clearwater, AC/DC, Nazareth, Grand Funk,38 Special,Alan Jackson, Molly Hatchett,Kid Rock, R.E.M, Kathy Matea, Jewel, Edgar Winter Group, the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack. I love gospel music as well, the old stuff and contemporary.....and I think that bluegrass is music boiled down to it's finest roots!

Slingblade, The Green Mile, Pay it Forward, Forrest Gump, Sleepless in Seattle, War of the Roses( a Must Have for anyone going thru divorce)....scary movies are cool....and I like a lot of kids movies.....cause I'm a big ol' softie!

I enjoy reading the bible....find something good every time I read it......I like success stories, legal thrillers, and lately I've been reading Dean Koontz... I love his freaky characters!
Heroes
My two sons.....they have been thru hell and back as two ignorant people tried to "stay together for the kids". And I have to say...I am kinda proud of myself.....found out through adversity that I'm a much stronger person than I thought I was.

Hello......my name is Mark. I am 47, and 3 years divorced, after a 23 year relationship. For the first time in my life, I am an independant, self supporting human being, and I am looking forward to a great future. I have no desire to "keep up with the Joneses"....been there, done that.....the Joneses won. What I have now is paid for, and if I can't pay for it I do without. I have two teenage sons....ages 18 and 19. My main priority is to survive the teen years and get these young men headed in the right direction. Things are so much different than when I was growing up. I'm not a social butterfly, and you wouldn't like me if you're the "life of the party". I feel much more comfortable away from crowds and "events".....and find a lot of solace in my "alone time".
