Noted worldwide for their unique, haunting style, and passionate,
poetic
songs, October Project signed to Epic Records in 1993 and have sold
over
half a million copies of their two Epic albums ("October Project" and
"Falling Farther In").
Although the original group took a break for personal reasons in 1996, its
three founding members, college friends Julie Flanders, Marina Belica &
Emil
Adler, came back together to make music again in 2003 and released a
six-song EP, 'different eyes.'
Reformed around the angelic vocals of Marina Belica, who used to be the
band's harmonist, and lyricist Flanders, who was previously not a
performing
member of the band, the two have been described by critics as a
"kinder,
gentler Heart," creating a vocal blend so seamless that you might think
they
were sisters. Adler's third-part underpinning completes the
transcendent
vocal sound that has always been a band trademark.
The few
concerts
October Project has performed over the last couple of years have
ignited the
same sort of grass roots firestorm that established the band back in
the
'90s.
New recordings and concerts are on the horizon for 2009. Stay tuned!

Your music has taken me to spaces unknown and to times indeterminate. Been hearing the sounds since the first songs played on air. Thank you all for the music. Love Peace. Joe

Back when I was in high school, I played your CD for my organ teacher. He usually declares most popular music to be rubbish. He liked your music so much, he shared it with his other students.
Yes, you October People are extraordinary. Thank you for what you have created!
