Contrary to what Rockshow productions has posted on thier site about the Oct. 28th show, THERE WILL BE MORE METAL SHOWS AT THE BLUE VIOLET.
Since it has come to this, I will explain the BVC situation.
We have not decided to stop having metal shows, we have decided to stop having shitty music. ALL GENRES OF MUSIC are welcome at the Blue Violet. However, it has come to my attention that alot of people are getting a little restless with the "shit" music scene and would like more talent and less poser. In order to fix this problem we have decided to make sure all of the music that comes through is WORTH PAYING TO SEE. Some people might be opposed to our position, but then again they are probably guilty of the brazen episodes of ear assault themselves. If you are attending a show at the BVC and look around crowd and half the room has left and the other half looks like they just took a swig of sour milk...THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT. We have decided to initiate operation quality control. If anyone is opposed to our reasonings, then by all means please feel free to take your business elsewhere......but, if you are into music that counts for artistic merit and release written and performed by people who make it count( not because their only motivation is to say they are in a band) then by all means, keep looking on our site for new upcoming shows and events.
I ( Tera) have nothing much in my life but my love for music of all kinds. Those of you who know me, know that I do everything I can to provide for and strengthen our little seedling music scene. I have no apologies for my honesty and I know that 95% of you that are reading this agree with me.
