The most explosive trio of Italian underground scene! The energetic verb of funk is assimilated and revisited in its hands,becoming a fascinating hybrid, which blends the rage of cross-over with the melodic intuitions of 70's rock. In January 2008 Garrincha leaves the band 'Le Vibrazioni' (3 records and more than 500,000 copies sold in Italy) to fully devote himself to OCTOPUS artistic growth. After a long period of songwriting they start to play across Italy, and then U.K. and U.S.A., with great feedback of audience and press. The band is characterized by a blasting and fiery hot performance on stage: a result of the emphasis of the songs added to the energetic determination of the musicians. In December 2008 OCTOPUS wins the Jack Daniel's Italian challenge, which will bring the band to play in the Jack Daniel's Party in Lynchburg TN in October 2009. The band has shot and entirely self-produced a live-DVD. On May 2009 the trio has played for the second time the U.S., with an 11-gig tour across California. In June 2009 Octopus released their first self-produced EP,including audio, live and bonus video tracks. The band also released a self-produced videoclip of the song "Desire", in rotation on the main national music networks.
