I've played drums for 25 years. Starting my tutelage with Sister Schlink in 2nd grade, I mastered the complex and inspiring rhythms of the Roman Catholic Church. Knowing the "Holy Grail" of percussion,(Polka) was'nt far behind, I set my sites on the prestigous "Uncle Ozzie Polka,Waltz and 2 Step
Extravaganza". For 3 months I lived the dream most 15 year olds could only
dream of. Tour bus trips that took us to exotic locals, such as North AND South Dakota (and yes, we went to the Mitchell corn Palace) and the girls!!!! Many a night, I've dreamt of the many pretty(albiet mostly toothless) girls I met on my journeys, You will always hold a place in my heart (you know who are!). Not wanting to be a big fish in, I don't know, say a small pond, I moved to Hollywood Ca. Hurray for Hollywood!!!!! I got my ass handed to me!!! I don't know if you've ever heard of a drummer by the name of Vinnie Colaiuta, but he took my Catholic-Polka hybrid style and just threw it in my face!!! Well, long story loooonnngggerrr, I now live in Minneapolis Minnesota where I race Iguanas (yes the reptile) professionally, and play a little drums now and then.Be sure to check out www.fastiguana.org to see my Iguana
