Odd Zero is an aggressive and driving Hard Rock band with a Metal and Punk edge. The band hails from New York City and blend old school Hard Rock, Punk and Metal to create an original modern sound. The band explodes with intense, heavy bass grooves, blazing guitar solos, powerful drums, and screaming vocals with thought provoking lyrics. They create the perfect balance between raw, frenetic energy and dark emotions. The four members are influenced by classic Metal, Hard Rock, and Punk from the likes of the Ramones, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Van Halen, Sex Pistols, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, and Guns ’N’ Roses. They formed in early 2004, having played many shows in New York City including North Six, opening up for the Glam-Punk band The Backyard Babies from Sweden, The Knitting Factory, Arlene’s Grocery, The Continental, CBGB, Sin-e, Don Hill’s, The Trash Bar, Ace of Clubs, Snitch, Fontana's, and The Delancey. Odd Zero played at The Middle East Club in Cambridge, MA, The Boston Yacht Club in Boston, MA and The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ. The band recorded with legendary Punk-Hard Core producer Don Fury at Cyclone Sound Studios in Brooklyn, NY and released a full-length album in the summer of 2006. They hit number one on the Rock charts and number four on the Punk charts on Soundclick.com with their songs "Libido Suicide" and “Hey Lover“. Odd Zero worked with producer-guitarist Joey Z from Life of Agony at his studio Method of Groove for their new E.P. “Admire the Liar” that was released in the winter of 2008. The band performed at the Chase Music Festival 2007 with the 1980’s legends The Smithereens and the Metal band Drop in Elgin, IL. Odd Zero will continue to thrill audiences with their heavy sound and stunning live shows.

We're people in the industry/scene who understand what musicians and fans want. We're creating a place where music in the most important thing. Remember when Myspace was a cool place for band to be discovered? Now in 2009 it's basically nothing but bands adding bands! Not to mention tons of fans have moved on to facebook because of all the band spam! Yeah that's right, sorry to tell you kids, but the industry knows your numbers are the result of "friend blasters" and spending day and night doing random add's. No one is impressed! So, what will be the site that Facebook defectors and music fans search when they want to hear some music?

So why join up to a new site? It has all the perks of Myspace, BUT, you can also create a store right on your page to sell ALL your merch including digital media! And the best part is, YOU get paid direct via PayPal. No middle man to cut into your profits! One stop for you and your fans! And Hey, you can always use more exposure right?!?
