Odelia formed in Fullerton, CA in the fall of 2001.The band's sound can be described as dynamic and atmospheric. Like their contemporaries, Odelia can be categorized in many genres. They have been described as experimental, post-rock, avant-rock, and instrumental. However, Odelia is comfortable with being described simply as a rock band.
Since 2001 Odelia has recorded four albums Argyplanischa (2002), The Angel as an Imposter (2003), Songs for a Clownfish (2006), and Don't Go Down to the Water (2009).
