Bio Française O.D.I.L (prononcer O.D.I.L) était à sa naissance un duo constitué de deux personnes, JB et krapo. Le groupe est officiellement né le 11 Août 2005, le jour de la première session d'enregistrement de So Sorry, mais ses membres fondateurs se connaissaient déjà depuis quelques années. En effet, ils ont glandé ensemble à l'IUT de Créteil en 1999, et jouent ensemble régulièrement depuis lors. Leur carrière comporte des moments forts comme le concert sur la passerelle des arts à Paris, lors de la fête de la musique édition 2004, au cours duquel ils ont été rejoints sur scène par un invité spécial de marque : un mec bourré.
Suite à l’arrivée de Raphy la Bassiste Masquée, qui a été catapultée par Dame Providence dans le QG du groupe fin 2008, puis de Dan au poste de batteur début 2009, O.D.I.L est devenu un duo constitué de quatre personnes.
L'objectif des membres de O.D.I.L est d'essayer de faire un peu de musique dans le but de devenir riche et célèbres, et éventuellement de dominer le monde.
N'ayant encore sorti aucun album, aucune démo, pas même le chien, O.D.I.L a décidé de vous offrir ses chansons au format mp3, ce qui lui permettra de vous poursuivre pour piratage une fois les morceaux pressés et commercialisés, si toutefois cela arrive. Pendant qu'il en est encore temps, faites-les circuler, envoyez-les aux personnes qui vous sont chères (ou que vous détestez, si les chansons ne vous plaisent pas). La conquête du monde passe par la célébrité.
English Biography
O.D.I.L (pronounce O.D.I.L) , started at first as a duet composed of JB and Krapo. And was officially born on August 11th 2005, day on which happened the first recording session of the song “So Sorry”. But its founding members have known each other for a few years. Indeed, they were sitting in the back of the classrooms at Créteil’s TCI in 1999 and have regularly played together since. Their career has few highlights. Once has to be mentioned though: during a concert for the Music Day 2004 in Paris, which was set up on the “Passerelle des Arts”, they were joined by a very special guest: a drunk guy.
Then came Raphaëlle, also known as “The Masked Bass Player”, who was sent by Mother Providence to the band, in the late 2008 and rapidly followed – early 2009 – by Dan on drums and backing vocals and sometimes bass (yes this man is simply amazing) O.D.I.L. became a four members duet.
O.D.I.L’s main goal in life is to play a bit of music just to become rich, famous and eventually rule the world.
Regarding the fact that the band HAS NOT released any album or demo (and we even didn’t release the pressure either), O.D.I.L. has decided to offer you its songs as MP3 files, which will make them able to sue you once the songs will be pressed and on sale, hoping this will happen one day. While it’s still time, spread the word about the songs and send these to your relatives (or eventually the ones you hate, in case you don’t like the songs). The first step to world’s conquest is celebrity.
