Dream Theater, Symphony X, Steve Vai, Allan Holdsworth, Frank Zappa, Hiromi Uehara, Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Liquid Tension Experiment, Meshuggah, Nevermore, Jeff Loomis, Chris Broderick, Outworld, Rusty Cooley, Muse, Tenacious D, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, Ennio Morricone, Sonic Syndicate, Scar Symmetry, Mike Patton, Shawn Lane and many many others... Depending on the mood also Pop, Jazz and Classical Artists...
I was born in 1989 in Switzerland and started to play guitar at the age of 13.
I was singing in a classical child's choir (haha) earlier, but I never considered singing again since I picked up the guitar.
At the age of 15 I got into rock and metal-bands, as well as all the famous guitar heroes such as Steve Vai, Yngwie and so on.
I am playing in the Swiss metal band Legenda Aurea since 2005, which is signed to the German record label Twilight Zone Records. There have been several concerts around Switzerland, including supportacts for international bands like Nocturnal Rites from Sweden, and Thunderstone from Finland.
The first longplayer "Sedna" was released in 2006, the following Albumhas been recorded in October 2008 at the Fascination Street Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
Along with our bassist, I have recently become an endorser of the guitar company Mayones from Poland.
In 2007, I have been a participant of the "Guitar Sessions" courses at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, where I had lessons, workshops and clinics from many great guitarists such as Jon Finn, German Schauss, David Gilmore and many others. Meeting all these inspiring persons has been a very valuable expierience for me.
A few months later I passed their entrance exam for the Bachelor's program, but in the nearest future I won't be able enter their school full-time due to the college's high fees.
Besides being thought by a private instructor since 2003, I am from time to time taking single lessons from Zlatko Perica, maybe Switzerlands most successful guitarplayer. Lately I have also taken place in a masterclass by the king himself, Steve Vai.
I have made a professional education in a music store in Zurich, and graduated from a commercial high school in 2009.
As soon as the money allows, I want to get a degree in music, at Berklee or GIT if somehow possible.
Besides playing guitar, I have a big interrest in composing and film music.
I have composed and recorded the music for two commercial movies of the Swiss major bank UBS, and I'm committed to make further jobs in this sector.
It is my dream and my goal to make a living out of being a professional musician in studio and live environment.
Me again :) I forgotten, I also wanted to thank you for the comment on the photo in your slide show on which you put “the band with our truest fan...” ;) I saw this picture a “long time ago” but I never thank you… Cheers

Hi Odilo, Thanks for the add. And thanks for those great moments during and after the concert. My trip to come back in Belgium was very long. I was not really motivated to come back to the “Belgian reality” after this nice weekend (it was most easy to come in Switzerland Saturday)… I hope to see you again soon. Cheers Laurent
