Lisa (my lovely G.F, and B.F.F), Photography, Graphic Design, Comic Sans, Papyrus, Photoshop filters (the more the better) People, Outdoors, Some Music, Movies, and TV shows (sans commercials).
Music
My favorite band, Jimmy Eat World! But pretty much anything but metal. I don't really feel like writing them all down though. I actually like some country music too. Then there are the guilty pleasures that I am too embarrassed to say. Pretty much, just think of the coolest bands that you know that aren't metal, and I like them.
GIMMIE SOME VANS FOOL!
Movies
Lots of them. Just keep the exploding body parts to a reasonable level.
Television
The Unit, and 24. The food network (even though I'm too cheap for cable). Alton Brown is cool because he gets to ride mototcycles across the country, and eat. Bobby Flay is cool too. Packers football games. One day I'll hopefully see one in person.
Books
Chronicles of Narnia, most graphic design and photography books, Brave New World, Old Yeller. The Torah...
I don't read enough.
Heroes
Anyone who can do what they love for a living. Eric, Adam, and Dave for all the N.T. over the years (N.I. for life), and being there for me. Hiro Nakamura, Samwise Gamgee.
About me:
I was born in Chico CA, and lived there for 22 years. In the summer of '07 I moved to to Seattle after graduation, and got a job as an intern at a graphic design firm. I enjoy design and photography, although in the grand scheme of things I still know relatively little of both. Right now I am content being "intern", and learning everyday. I guess that really never ends though. Just more responsibility. Recently they promoted me at work to "apprentice", which is the last step before the possibility of being hired (which I hope happens).
I still miss Chico from time to time. The friends, family, brewery, bear, and taco trucks (most importantly) just are't up here.
Who I'd like to meet: Beyonce (Sorry Lisa), and Jack Bauer. People in general who enjoy life, and don't take themselves too seriously.
haha, play it safe with the city scape. I'm so glad you picked up on the FOTC ref. I think you maybe the only one...I'm prob. heading up your way in October/Novemeber, so we'll have to catch up!
The man was crazy! I don't really know how to explain it, but the guy couldn't find the right pants and so he brought out the catalogue to try to find them and when dave and I tried to find them he ripped away the magazine and said "just give it some time, I will find them". I think he was checking out dave too! These were just a few examples!
