Odio Su Tela was born at the end of 2005 with the purpose of giving to the Italian crossover scene a band which they can define with, thanks to the lyrics in Italian (not too much often taken the best of it from others bands) and the songs with strong, immediate impact where music, power, aggression are melted in a very successful mix.
During the first year of work the band has released its first Demo/EP called "Odio Su Tela" consisting of 6 songs and a home made video clip shooted for the song "Senza Spazio".
The influences present are multiple and go from System Of A Down to Subsonica, passing to Slipknot, Machine Head and electronic music. The EP was written, arranged, recorded and mixed entirely by the band at their private studio. The press and free distribution is also carried out directly by the band during live shows and through the official site. “Odio Su Tela” is the first official release of this band, but the last (not least) of a long series of demo recordings in ten years of activity as musicians.
"Odio Su Tela" recieved a lot of great reviews (top demo on Eutk.net and on the italian magazine Metal Maniac) and lead the band to the contract with the promotion agency Alkemist Fanatix in October 2007.
During the years 2007/2008 the band played some gigs and released two cover/mash up (self recorded as usual) only for the download: Fata Morgana (2007), a Mash Up between Litfiba's Fata Morgana and Prodigy's Breathe; For Whom The Bell Tolls (2008), Mash Up Between 5 Metallica's Classic. This mash up has been choosen by the Italian webzine "Zona Metallica" to be part of an italian compilation/tribute to Metallica and has been elected as "Best song of the compilation".
In July/August 2008 Odio Su Tela, with the aim of Alkemist Fanatix, has signed a contract with the english label Copro Records.
