    ...... .. .. .. .. .. .... .. ..Sampler / Tributes: .. .. .. .. ......Im Herbst 1993 gründet Rochus Pfaff die Band ODIUM. Zunächst als reine Coverband, beschloss man rasch Eigenkompositionen zu schreiben und erste Demos zu produzieren. Musikalisch geht es in Richtung Thrash, Powermetal mit progressiven Einflüssen. Textlich werden Themen wie Hass, Tod, und der alltägliche Wahnsinn behandelt... Im April 2001 entschliesst man sich im LFT Studio von Marc Bugnard (Ex- Roko ) das „erste" Album aufzunehmen. Die Zusammenarbeit mit Marc setzt sich auch die folgenden Jahre und Alben fort. Positive Resonanzen für die Produktionen bei Magazinen (Rock Hard, Metal Hammer u.a.) folgen. Für das aktuelle Release „Stop my anger" wurde wieder ein Teil im LFT Studio aufgenommen. Für den Mix konnte man jedoch diesmal Andy Classen (Tankard, Disbelief, Belphegor etc.) verplichten. .. Über die Jahre werden kontinuierlich Gigs und Festivals gespielt und ODIUM etabliert sich zu einer festen Grösse im Rhein-Main Gebiet. Gigs mit Testament, Holy Moses, Tankard, Dead soul tribe, Crematory u.a. werden absolviert und die Fanbasis stetig erweitert... .. .. .. .. .... .... .. PRÄSENTIERT:.. .... ......

A mixture of power metal, Thrashmetal and classic metal meets Doommetal and progressive Metal. The arrangements are never boring or repeating... each song has it..s own nature. Established 1993 ODIUM crushed into the german underground. Until today they are still doing what they know best: kicking asses! A great live performace mixed with their rough, solid and outstanding sound and their provoking lyrics gets the people into that moshpit. *Headbangers beware: ODIUM could cause serious health damage to your neck ! *Live-performances all over germany and with acts like: TESTAMENT, DEAD SOUL TRIBE, NAPALM DEATH, CLAWFINGER,HOLY MOSES, CREMATORY, TANKARD, AGATHODAIMON and many others could create a huge fan-base all over germany. Now after almost 17 years ODIUM released their 7th album produced by Marc Bougnard (Rokko), mixed and mastered by Andy Classen (Tankard, Disbelief, Belphegor and others)! It is more agressiv, more various and kicking more asses... Hellion Record describes ODIUM: Germany still has its well kept secrets concerning bands with a very charismatic face playing a style that you actually seem very much familiar with. ODIUM in this case come up with some hot and heavy thrashing powermetal that ranges from the wicked TESTAMENT riffing on their third and fourth albums to heavy yet catchy parts XENTRIX would not have done better in their heydays. They can roll over you like a giant guitar tank with the power of one thousand stacks and force the true metal believe into your tiny mind. They bring their share of wild and honestly emotional melodylines into this marriage between Bay Area thrash and raw american powermetal, melodies that stay with the listener for sure, it just takes a few spins to get beyond their rude beauty. This is pure metal, no fills, just thrills. For each and every headbanging man and woman the right stuff.
