Chers amis. Nous sommes Ödland. Nous espérons vous faire aimer notre musique. Il y aura peut-être des grincements de dents parmi vous, ou quelques amoureux. Notre proposition s'inspire beaucoup de choses que l'on pouvait entendre au XIXe siècle. Mais nous gardons un esprit moderne et ne nous enfermons pas dans un style précis. Notre soucis est avant tout de vous rencontrer sur scène, car notre musique est entièrement acoustique. Nous souhaitons voyager le plus possible. Prenez soin de vous. Pensées.
Lorenzo Papace est né le 15 janvier 1986 à Lyon. À quatre ans, il commence l'étude du piano classique.
À partir de 2001, il va faire partie de plusieurs formations musicales, en orchestre et en groupe.
En décembre 2008, il décide de monter son propre projet musical, entièrement acoustique.
En janvier 2009, commencent les premières répétitions du groupe Ödland.
Lorenzo a fait appel à Alizée Bingöllü, comédienne, avec qui il avait l'habitude de travailler sur certains court-métrages.
Alizée est la voix d'Ödland. Isabelle Royet-Journoud est photographe, et avait pour désir d'explorer de nouveaux territoires de création.
Elle joue du ukulélé et crée des ambiances à partir de jouets et autres petits accessoires.
Léa Bingöllü est violoniste, et a tout de suite été attirée par l'univers d'Ödland.
Le groupe puise ses inspirations dans certains mouvements qui animaient le XIXe siècle, comme le romantisme, le néo-classicisme russe
et le ragtime américain, ancêtre du jazz. Mais sa force est surtout la spontanéité de personnes qui découvrent la musique comme un autre moyen de s'exprimer.
Ödland est un projet entièrement acoustique, décalé dans une ère du tout numérique. Il n'est ni traditionnel ni réactionnaire.
Il est simplement amoureux des petits défauts qui interviennent dans un ensemble vivant. Il prône un retour à certaines choses anciennes mises de coté trop rapidement par la musique actuelle.
Ödland vient de sortir son premier EP The Caterpillar, complètement autoproduit et collabore avec le label Aerotone. Cette merveilleuse production est en vente dans le boutique d'Ödland et est un aperçu du prochain grand album en préparation, Ottocento.

We are inspired by the 19th Century and what you could listen at this time. But we keep a modern spirit and we are not slaves of a particular style. Lorenzo Papace was born the 15th january 1986 in Lyon. He started to learn classical piano at the age of 4.
Since 2001, he joined many musical groups, with an orchestra or with bands.
At december 2008, he decided to make his own musical project, entirely acoustic.
At january 2009, started the first Ödland group repetitions.
Lorenzo called upon Alizée Bingöllü, actress, with whom he already realized some short movies. Alizée is the Ödland voice.
Isabelle Royet-Journoud is a photographer, and wished to explore other creation territories. She is playing ukulele and creating sounds environments
with toys and little things. Léa Bingöllü is a violonist, and was immediatly attracted by Ödland's world.
The music band is inspirated by some musical movements wich animated the 19th century, like romantism, russian new classicism and american ragtime, jazz ancestor. But his true power is the spontaneousness of people who discover the music as an other means of creating.
Ödland is an absolutly acoustic project, shifted in the entirely numerical era. It is neither traditional nor reactionary. It is just in love with little mistakes
you can find in a living group. It preaches a return to old things forgotten too quickly by the current music.
Ödland has just released his first EP The Caterpillar entirely self-produced and works with the label Aerotone. This wonderful production is to sell in the Ödland's shop and is a preview of the next great album in preparation, Ottocento.
