So many, for so many reasons.....
Doug E. Fresh rocks the mutha fuckin stage. Period. Rod McKuen is the most versatile poet/musician ever. Period. Tom Waits is a creative force to be reckoned with. Period. KRS-ONE, Public Enemy, Rakim, Busta, Eminem, Outkast, JayZ, Tribe Called Quest...hell yeah., Black Sheep, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, and well, just about everything I've ever heard has influenced me is some way, shape, or form, be it positive or negative....
All forms of music have influenced my music as well, from the overtones of blues, the vibe of jazz, the stories of country music, to the anger of heavy metal...Old poetry recordings by Rod Mckuen are a great inspiration when I'm emo....
All of life influences me. I may see a woman standing at the busstop...and two days later have a song called "Transit Situations" or something....who knows?

My mom took away my Slick Rick tape when I was about 8 or something....since then its been rebellion. Once upon a great while ago I was Krazee K (circa 1991). Hiphop and I went on hiatus in the mid to late nineties due to irreconcilable differences, but as hiphop grew out of her phase, we moved back in together, and its been bliss since.
