Odum, the explosion that creates the world, creates the sun, the moon, the earth, and the ocean, the explosion that separates day from night, creates time, space, and consciousness, it's an entity that holds a power of its own.
Originally manifested in 2005 by Rob (guitar and vocals) and Gus (drums) in Los Angeles, along with 3 other members and with a 4-song demo, it rapidly conquered a strong fan base with those who have experienced the intensity of Odum's live shows, or listened to Odum's music.
On 2006, Odum went on a hiatus for reasons beyond its control and necessary at that time.
In mid 2008, Odum put Gus and Rob back together, showing that time asleep was necessary for its evolution.
Writing and rehearsing for a few months, with a limited budget, the two of them recorded a 3-song demo and shot a promo video by themselves, to expose its rebirth and search for people to work with.
Rob and Gus are currently working on more songs to be recorded in the near future, and upcoming live shows to bring forth what Odum is all about.
