On the suggestion of Concerts of local Rock- and Pop Bands Oeler started learn playing classical Drums and Percussions in the Age of 14. 4 years later his interests switched to Electronika when he was at a Concert of Die Fantastischen Vier and at the same time to improvised Music as Jazz, Latin, Funk or Soul. From this moment on he was fascinated on the magic and the power of danceable and electronic beats but also on the traditional Swing and Latin based rhythms and he changed to a Jazz- drummer with his education. At the same time he also started to play with bands and in projects who mixed the both sides - handmade music and electronic sounddesign.

In the Age of 25 his preference finally went to electronic music and the succesless years as drummer who just wished to twirl the crowd around a dancefloor made him changing his priorities and he just played Drums and Percussion in Studio for recording sessions. So Oeler started 2005 to produce his own electronic Tracks with the result of his first distribution a conceptionally Album called Drum..n..Space (DCC 04) in March 2007.

After playing the Add on drums for Gabriel Anandas Album Bambusbeats in 2006 Oeler was very impresed by the magic of Techno and Minimal and he decided to concentrate on producing Club Tracks. At the same time he began to miss the feeling of playing live so he also started to create his first Live Act.

A few mounths later he made his first Vinyl distribution on the Karmarouge 30 V/A- Album „Traumschwiegersöhne“ followed by several Gigs in the local Area around Cologne. Meanwhile the experiences he made allows him to bring his own style back into the Clubs in order to live his greates dream: “Twirl the crowd round the dance floor!”. Oeler also began to work on ideas in Dub, Downbeat, Ambient and Trip Hop using his pseudonym TravOeler in order to create a new conceptional Album.
