Créé en 2003, Oestre (Metal Indus) s'est réuni autour d'un projet : proposer une musique originale et novatrice, mélange de métal moderne (Meshuggah, Textures...) et de musique électronique...
La présence de samples oppressants contribue à développer l'atmosphère malsaine de leur musique.
Après avoir acquis une solide expérience scénique aux côtés de groupes de qualité (Gojira, Lofofora, Textures,Eths, Hacride...), le groupe veut étendre sa renommée.
Après avoir enregistré deux autoproductions unanimement saluées par la presse spécialisée, Oestre entre en studio pour l'enregistrement de son 1er album, qui sortira en novembre 2007 via Thundering Records /Manitou Music.
Le groupe fait parti de l'association Métal Urgence organisatrice de concerts métal en Limousin.
J'ai écouté vos chansons, c'est vraiment costaud ce que vous faites ! Il y a du potentiel, et en effet le français change vraiment la donne. Si vous souhaitez réaliser un jour un clip, on se ferait un plaisir de bosser avec vous. On a des vrais fans de metal dans notre assoce donc ça peut être sympa.
