About me: Traditional Irish, English & Scottish folk music. We play locally, mostly in pubs or at small festivals, as well as private functions. As a family we have been playing together for about eight years. Lindsay plays Melodeon, Penny Whistle, Accordian, as well as a bit of Piano, Violin, & pretty much any instrument presented to her, although she would not admit to this... Her daughters are writing this without her knowledge by the way, in case you were wondering... We have played at numerous music festivals, including Bromyard Folk Festival, Upton Folk Festival (for the Morris Dance side 'Salty Sal'), The Voru International Music Festival in Estonia. More recently we have played at The Theatre On The Steps in Bridgenorth & Dinglestock Festival in Far Forest. Lindsay & Mary also currently play for the Border Morris dance side 'Beaudelay Morris', centered around Bewdley.
We (her daughters) are: Mary on guitar, Lucy on Castegnari Melodeon, & Hetty on Ukelele/Banjelele.
We play traditional Irish & English Folk Music & partake in as many pub music sessions as possible, as this is by far our favorite past-time. We also love to perform out of course, but nothing beats that pub atmosphere... All the fine ales & ciders...
