This site is now basically a memorial for the band Of Blessings and Burdens. We are no longer together and have all moved on in our lives and gone our serperate ways. Yet, we leave these memories here not only to share with all of you but also as a reminder of a great time in our lives, and for everyone that was ever envolved with us in anyway. Every person that has been a part of this band truly thanks all the fans, bands, and followers for all the support through all the years for the things that we have accomplished. We've shot two amazing music video, put out an awesome LP and EP, went out on a pretty decent three week tour (with obvious bumps along the road, no pun intended), play with bands like Unearth, Shadows Fall, Nora, and we did it all on our own. So check out all the pictures and videos and enjoy some of the music.
There will be a better bio and everything one day to better justify the history of this band, but until then enjoy.

So I finally got my hands on the rest of the songs for '...Now That She's In Town' and I wanted to tell you guys that they are, just like the rest, fucking amazing.

So here’s the deal, I am finally ready to sell my van. I need your help because I need someone to buy it, anyone. Now I know that there is someone out there who is in desperate need of a van for work or band or just for camping or something like that. So keep your eyes peeled for someone that is in the market for one. This thing got us all over the eastern part of the united states and had no problems what-so-ever. It is all set up for a touring band, it was great.
It is a 15 passenger van with 5 "legal" seats w/working seat belts. I built a bunk in the back above mattresses on the floor so the people sleeping on the floor level had their feet under the bunk. So it is actually really comfortable, it also has a spot for a TV at the end of the bunk. It fits 5 sleeping people very comfortably. It has a 350 V8, full tow package with wiring for reverse and interior lights on your trailer for the late night loading. It does however need some work on the exhaust manifold but besides that I have sunk a lot of money into getting it up to par before tour. I have had it for a year now and I have put in a radiator, water pump, alternator, battery, a couple brake and trany lines, front brake pads and calipers, rear brake pads, front shocks, a front brace and ball joints. i was just talking about the liawog/ OBAB show at the greenfield teen center the other day and ryan's "buffer" waiting on us at friendly's good times guys. i'm keeping an eye out for that last show deal.
so I'm semi depressed at hearing OBAB is sort of over. I saw you guys play once and it was at my highschool =] how funny. but I pretty much fell in love with you're music and I have the old cd and I listened to the songs on the new one and love them just as much. I really hope I can see you all preform one last time because a memory from march just doesn't cut it. =] so basically I love you guys, you're music constantly amazes me and everytime I go to school I think about the time you played in our gym haha a pretty boring place to play, but I'll always have that memory with me. ♥
