    OF ECHOES is the collective endeavor of musicians engaged in developing a singular dissonance. Refusing to dwell on one musical dimension alone, the band has a huge pallet of influences mostly due to an eclectic line-up with musicians coming from different backgrounds. The music has a lush song structure, with a notable diversity of moods, dynamics, and atmospheres. The guitarist, and bands founder Mike Ringley with his compositional partners, Chris and Jake Nalley on bass, keys and rhythm guitar and Ethan Young on drums. The type of "synchronic disconnection" inherent to OF ECHOES music, gives this band an intriguing and unique "dark" allure. If the sound were Compared to a drug, you would have to make a cocktail of peyote, Prozac, and amphetamines. The Of Echoes live show is intricate and intense with set lists that take the crowd thru ups and down each song a hopeful surprise. And the studio works such as Penance of Atrocities can best be enjoyed in a dark room with headphones, while you sail you mental ships thru fields of rolling grass, and count the angels on the heads of pins. There is something for everyone in the Of Echoes Music repertoire from the Die hard metal head to the Thursday night Piano Bar fan.
