О себе:
The Off-Off-Off-Broadway Company was formed in 2007. It consists of South African born performance artist Jaacq Hugo, 23, and Greek-Cypriot writer-director Polis Loizou, 24. They met on a film course, swapped mix-CDs and forgotten cinematic gems of the ‘60s and ‘70s, and have since been blessed by Tori Amos.
They are spiritually fulfilled by social misfits, suburbia, dementia, sexuality, film, popular literary fiction, the poetry in the mundane, people with good hair and the battle between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis.
They have combined their loves of cinema and the theatre to tell stories of pathetic characters through video and performance in a single setting. Following last year's Marriage Of Fire And Water, their latest collaboration is Clothes To Fall Apart In, which premiered at the Buxton Fringe Festival this summer.
You are invited to A Very Sad Woman's wake, where her brother and sister will reminisce about her life. Do not expect love. Expect video, monologues, performance, an unstable grandmother, a tragic Adonis, morbid fashion shows, loose threads, shoes and stockings – because death shouldn't stop you from looking good...
