Thanks a lot for the add! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. Last saw JJ & wife @ Black Cat 2001. JJ & I spent about 18 months together & man do I have tales to tell! We were crazy! The 80's! I'LL ALWAYS LOVE THE OFFENDERS! So many memories....
Mikey it is a sad day for us all!! I remember a quick thing about the Offenders(MIKEY). I worked at a place called the OMNI in Houston and when the Offenders played they were doing soundcheck and out of the corner of my eye I saw Mikey fall off the stage. He was electrocuted badly and I had to call an ambulance for him. This is punk- get electrocuted, go to E.R. and go back and play the show. Unreal yet that was how he was. Shocking for real!! A True musician and a lover of music.I was thinking about how many people he brought music to around the world. That is amazing. Our thoughts go out to his family. Joanne and Killian
