Officer Steve is an energetic and unique Rock foursome formed in 2000 by a group of friends from Middleton, WI. Nick, Eli and Will started honing their skills together on weekends in cramped quarters on Orchard St and Mifflin St. After moving back to Madison and with much coaxing, vocalist Chris officially joined the band in 2002. The group shared similar tastes in music and a passion for performance. After a flurry of writing in the summer of 2002 the band played for a group of friends and the ball was rolling.
Officer Steve is heavily influenced by bands like Soundgarden, The Doors, Sonic Youth and many others. The band blurs the lines between punk, hard rock and grunge. Chris’s unique vocal stylings mix with Nick’s schizophrenic guitar sound, Will’s rhythmic clatter and Eli’s rock solid drumming to create a sound both powerful and melodic. The resulting songs range from being melodically dramatic to ragingly rockin’.

We're only going to be playing once a month throughout WI so we need to get as many people at each show as possible... otherwise they'll have to wait a long time to see us again! lol.

Oh thanks, but don't be sorry, lol. They were good musicians, but not the nicest people. We broke up over me getting engaged, lol. Besdies now I sing for a band called Neverstatic, and they are awesome and SO nice. They played at my wedding. :)
