Taking inspiration from late 70's rock bands such as Joy Division
and The Cure they have always strived to set themselves apart
from the crowd.
They have been together for three years and during this time they
built a recording studio so they could record and rehearse
original material.
In October of 2007 they booked their own tour around the UK for three weeks
playing around a dozen shows showcasing a simple but
unique rock sound.
Most recently 1987 entered Bath's Moles club 'Battle of the Bands' landing
themselves a position in the finals.
"..a pop sensibility which resulted in rather catchy songs, helped along
by synths similar to the decade from which they took their name.." - Jack Prescott, Moles.
