Acral Necrosis formed in a desolate wasteland in the North of England in 2005. After relieving three members of their duties over the following two years, the band now has the steady line up of Alasdair Bulmer, Simon Nagington, Tom Bond and Dane Chadwick. Their sound is an uncompromising blend of all things Black Metal and Thrash, they are in no way apart of the farcical “new wave” of Thrash Metal and have no intention of being so.
The bands moniker refers to a symptom of the Bubonic Plague, in which the victims extremities turn black with haemorrhaging. This is often thought to have given rise to the name “The Black Death”.
In 2007 Acral Necrosis released their first CD “Eternal Nuklear Violation” through underground US label Ground Zero Entertainment. The first three tracks of this MCD where recorded sporadically through several months, being intended only to be released as a demo. The fourth track had been recorded a year beforehand as part of the bands first demo with their original vocalist Gary Mitchell. This gave the release a very raw feel, and showcased the beginnings of how Acral Necrosis where shaping their sound.
The second CD “United In Annihilation” was released in 2008, again, through Ground Zero Entertainment. This was a three way split with Warfist and the legendary Witchtrap. Acral Necrosis’ four tracks where this time recorded together, and further showed the style that the band was heading towards. This split received excellent reviews within the metal community including an 8.5/10 in Terrorizer Magazine (issue 188).
2008 and 2009 saw the band playing shows all around the UK, including the Necro-Alko-Terror-Tour with Necrosadistic Goat Torture and Necromessiah. In this period Acral Necrosis developed their live sound and concentrated on writing and demoing new material, including the Hell Blackened Thrash recording.
Towards the end of 2009, Acral Necrosis are releasing a 7” split with Witchaven called “Black Thrashing Mayhem” and a live cassette, “Sloppy ‘n’ Slashed” through their own label Atomik Hell Produktions. The band are currently having a year off touring, concentrating on writing material for their debut full length album.
Keep checking for updates on future recordings and tours.

Thanks a lot for the add. Postwar is the new generation of the Brazilian Metal. It's a True 80' Thrash Metal plus the Brazilian Groove. That mix makes Postwar sounds different of every Thrash band you already know. Please, when you have a minute, just check Postwar out, OK?
