About me:

Action Video Entertainment was formed in 1992 by then-King Videocable (now Northland Cable TV) sales rep and program director John McCarthy, then-Southern Pacific (now Union Pacific) railroad engineer John Googins and founder and owner of Depth Defying Graphics Bill Janis. Mike Summers joined AVE in 1994 working behind-the-scenes before becoming on-camera talent and producer. He took over ownership and operations in 2005 following the retirement of Googins.

AVE programming has aired on such prominent television stations like Northland Cable Channel 3 in Mt. Shasta (1992-2005), Yreka Community Television Channel 4, Redding Community Access Channel 11 and KGEC-TV Channel 26 in Redding. Videos of these programs were made available and will be again in the near future. Now AVE programming can be seen on MySpaceTV including In Focus: (your) Siskiyou Magazine and Video Feedback. More great projects are on the way!
