Week 8 - Live From Vans Warped Tour
I’m Louise Staley and booked all the bands at CBGB for more years than I care to admit. Contrary to what some believe, CBGB is still very much alive as CBGB.com – and no, we are not open in Vegas, but Hilly always wanted to go there, and that possibility still exists. For the moment, though, we’re in cyberspace. I’m also working through a vast mountain of tapes and video that was recorded while we were open at 315 Bowery. Last October we released number 8 in a series of recordings from the OMFUG Master Series – Living Color – Live at CBGB.
I’ve started this page to keep folks in touch with what were up to. I’d love to hear from anyone that played the club, or just hung out. We’re revamping lots of stuff and in the coming months there will be much more I can share. In the meantime, I’d appreciate it if you could spread the word and tell folks to stop by.
We walked right by 315 during the CMJ fest. The "artist lounge" was 3 blocks away & it wasn't until later I realized...Born too late...man things'll never be the same.
