Dream Street was a boyband formed back in 1999 by Brian and Louie. Auditions were held in New York and about 200 to 300 boys showed up to audition. After auditions, they cut it down to 8. Then they worked with them, and finally came down to Chris Trousdale, Greg Raposo, Jesse McCartney, Frankie Galasso and Matt Ballinger. At that time, the band was called Boy Wonder, but was soon changed to Dream Street. They worked with Claudia, their choreographer, and got dance moves for their songs. By 2000 they released their first CD, Dream Street. Soon after came their single, It Happens Every Time, which featured Claudia's dog, Molly Mae. After that the boys really had it made. Their single went to #1 and they went touring around the country, appearing on television shows such as news stations, game shows (Go For It), even Nickelodeon. But, in 2002, while working on their second album, a law suite came up from the parents of the boys, accusing the producers of making the boys do drugs, drink and have sex with the fans. This, of course went to court, and the verdict was the boys splitting up.
