DEBUT SINGLE: 22nd AUGUST 2011 Red One wanted them all to himself, Jessie J's team wooed them for months, Leona Lewis had a hand in their formation and the Black Eyed Peas whisked them off to Paris.…it looks like Kate Middleton isn't the only Duchess causing a stir in 2011. Annie, Shanie, Jamie and Nadine, also known as Duchess release their first ever single 'All The Boyz', featuring rapper Scorcher on 22nd August through All Around The World / Universal. A tongue-in-cheek bite of electro rn'b, the single is a dance floor call to arms for girls across the land. A chant so ferocious it sounds like the ultimate alpha female in sonic form, without ever taking itself too seriously. 'All The Boyz' is already causing a furore with UK music tastemakers. BBC1Xtra and Choice FM are spinning the track weeks in advance, and influential DJs such as DJ Target, Ronnie Herel, Firing Squad, Kojo and Jamal Edwards of gigantic youth portal SBTV have been fervently endorsing the single's credentials. Firing up at commercial radio, the song is looking like being this summer's leading lady. Inspired by strong female groups such as Destiny's Child, Danity Kane & En Vogue, Duchess are four gorgeous young ladies with lungs to match their idols. Acoustic performances online have proved the girls are able to shine, and in fact blossom without accompaniment. A rare feat. Duchess is Annie Ashcroft, Jamie Lisa Jacquemin, Shanie Ryan and Nadine Samuels. Put together some 16 months ago, the ladies quickly found themselves without a deal when the original team around them disintegrated.
