About me:
Thank You very much... to everyone who has been to the Riverside, or Lords or anywhere else to support us this season. This has been our most successful summer ever, and a big part of that is due to the support we recieve.

Not many counties can boast about having great support, but the North East has proved once again to have some of the most passionate sports fans in the world.

After winning the FP Trophy, becoming Champions in the NatWest Pro40 Div. 2, and then finishing second to Sussex in the County Championship this season has surpassed all of our expectations, and then some more! We are so proud to have been able to parade trophies to our fans and pay them back for all the support they have given us...Thank You All.

NatWest Pro40 Division 2 WINNERS 2007

After beating Glamorgan here at the Riverside on Saturday and Somerset being held by Middlesex at Taunton at the same time, Durham were crowned Champions of Division 2, claiming promotion to Division 1.

Your support at the ground was again amazing, and everyone involved with the club would like to say thank you very much. The players and coaching staff were extremely proud to have paraded two Trophies as a thank you for the crowd who stayed after the game to show their support.

Lets bring on Division One!!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

FRIENDS PROVIDENTS TROPHY WINNERS 2007

All at Durham CCC, players and staff alike would like to thank all of ours fans for their unbelievable support during this season.

All of the players commented on the Saturday night on how amazed they were with the amount and the volume of Durham supporters at Lords, and we hope you all had a great day.

Shocking that Lancashire have avoided a points deduction for that Blackpool wicket.
Really terrible luck to have to play a vital match on a nightmare of a wicket.

Are the rumours true that benky will be leaving us at the end of the season?

Hiya

congratulations on reaching the FPT Final. See at Lord's on the 18 August.
Michael

Jun 23 2007 5:41 AM

Thanks for the add.

Great time for Durham at the moment, first final, Paul Collingwood national one day captain, more players in one test side than any other county. We even got praised by Sky Sports on what we've achieved in such a short space of time (even if it was by two ex-players who have links with the area).
