DJ, PRODUCER, PROMOTER...
She began creating dance music at the age of 14 after learning to play numerous instruments, including the keyboard, at school. Whilst studying music technology at college Euphonique also took up the drums and completed her Grade 3. Euphonique soon grew into using professional production programmes to create and record her music. She developed into creating house, techno and eventually drum & bass and jungle.
Her song 'Geddup 'n' Dance' has been featured on various compilation albums including The Tasmanian Rainforest Benefit CD (Brighton) and Sushi Bites Compilation (RF Records - Manchester / North West). Her tracks have been played on Unity Radio and she appeared at Number 1 in the beatmaka.com charts in both March (Geddup 'n' Dance) and April (Sex and Cigarettes). Her tracks have recently been signed to Publishing Company Respect Music Ltd.
Whilst studying Music and Events Management at University Euphonique has worked on various events with Raw Fish Records (a Manchester based record label for upcoming musicians) including The Sushi Bites Launch Party at The Ruby Lounge, Openfest at the Amphitheatre, The Openfest Aftershow at Mantos in Manchester plus numerous showcasing events.
Euphonique has also worked with GASHcollective including GASHfest - a 4 day festival in the hills of Scotland, Sketch at Jillys, Rockworld – the Manchester Soundsystem showdown, and has gone on to promote the new Manchester based Underground Mash-Up event Sub-Woofah! alongside DJ Ainsley K and Uncle Sam, which has since received a residency at The Corner, Fallowfield/Manchester every other Thursday!
