An all-female quartet formed by New Jack Swing Group Full Force signed on Reprise Records hailing from Brooklyn, New York. They released two studio albums before disbanding in 1994. They were also considered as on the famous group during the New Jack Swing period. Members include Monica Boyd, Julia Roberson, Stacy Francis, and Tisha Hunter later given the surname "X" to match their concept of "female militarism". In 1991 they released their first single "Why Can't You Come" which did good on the charts. after the release of singles "You (You're The One For Me)", and "What I Would Do To You" they released their debut album "X Marks The Spot". After three-year wait Ex-Girlfriend returned in 1994, they released single "X In Your Sex", then later on their second album "It's A Woman Thang" it received a lukewarm response then later of '94 they broke up. Like other female groups of the nineties they believed in "female empowerment" and were often compared to a musical version of Salt-N-Pepa. In 2008 Stacy,Julia,Monica, & Tisha Has Reached An Agreement To Return To the Music Scene. ...................................................... Interested in Submitting Production?
