Touring with Tina Turner ignited a spark though, so she started taking guitar lessons, and decided to demo a few songs. "There's always been a desire within me to make a record about the variations and mysteries of love," says Reuben.
So, during a time when the music industry has been sending out mixed messages to aspiring new artist's, Reuben opted instead to take the plunge, anchored both feet, and decided to finance her own record. She enlisted Grammy-Award winning songwriter/producer Barry Eastmond (Anita Baker, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, to name a few) to produce the CD's nine tracks.
