About me:
Jonathan Fagerlund from Jönköping in Sweden, is not just your average teenager. He is an amazingly talented 17 year old boy and one of music’s brightest upcoming stars. In spite of his incredibly young age he is extremely experienced on stage, both vocally and visually. As part of his wealth of experience Jonathan spent a year performing with an Irish boy band. During his time as a member, Jonathan performed across Europe and the USA. As time went on Jonathan left the group as it did not develop the way he had hoped for. When he made the move back to Sweden a new contact was established with the producer Samuel Waermö, who he worked with previously. Hit maker, Samuel is a producer and song writer who has been behind over 15 songs that have went on to become number one hits worldwide. He has also produced six songs on music legend Jon Bon Jovie’s album “Bounce & lonely no more”.
Samuel was not the first to notice that Jonathan had stunning potential with his amazingly rich voice, good looks and charisma, so it was an obvious decision to produce his solo album. Many of the worlds most appreciated song writers have contributed songs for this album, including Andreas Carlsson (Celine Dion, Britney Spears) and Savan Kotecha (West Life, Carrie Underwood). Jonathan’s music could be described as “A young James Blunt meets Take That”. The intensely emotional yet still hopeful first solo single, "Angeline", has just been completed and is set to capture your heart. His second single, Playing me, is about to be released in February.Jonathan's first studio album is currently receiving its finishing touches and is set for release later this year. Jonathan has an incredibly large and loyal fan base on Myspace, with over 110 000 profile views and close to 100 000 plays of his songs.

14 May 2008 - Videoshoot!
Hello people!!! I hope you're doing great. I've been in Stockholm the past few days for my new videoshoot which took place yesterday! It's gonna be a great video! Hehe ;) I'll upload some pictures from it as soon as I get them.
Parts of it was recorded around Stockholm and the last part was recorded on top of "PUB-huset" (which is an 8-story building right in the centre of Stockholm). Well, I won't tell you more now or I'll ruin the suprise, hehe... Thanks for all your support, All the love, Jonathan

Things has been crazy busy in school these last couple of weeks so i havent been on here as much as usual, sorry about that :)
I am however finally allowed to tell you all about the next single, it's gonna be a song called Dance In The Shadows. I'll try to get a clip up asap. Its a GREAT song with a really catchy chorus, i hope you'll love it!

7 April 2008 - New photoshoot!

Tomorrow (tuesday the 8th) I'm going away for a photoshoot for my album! I'll see if i can get any of the pictures to upload here for you. A new single is going to be released before summer starts, so we're planning alot for that at the moment. I'll get back to you with more information about the release as soon as possible. I'm in the current issue of QX and in a magazine called "Frida" in Swedish stores 3rd of April. Playing me is still on the charts
- nr 19 on "Hitlistan" and nr 13 on "Digilistan".
Hello :) I hope youre all doing great and that all of you who has not yet got the spring weather gets it real soon. We only got it today here in Sweden. Playing me is still doing good, currently number 19 on "Hitistan" (sales + downloads and 12 on "Digilistan" (downloads) so i want to thank all of you - again for supporting me! I'm in two magazines this month, the cuerrent issue of QX (http://www.qx.se/tidningen/6129/femme-tjejer%2C-doreen-och-lars-wallin-i-qx-aprilnummer - avalible for download) and in the next issue of a Swedish magazine called "Frida" in Swedish stores 3rd of April. 16 March 2008 - Back in Sweden!!!
Hey! I flew back from Ireland two days ago and I’m now in Stockholm to finish my working experience in Storm Studios. Last night myself and a couple of friends went to see Melodifestivalen (the national final in Eurovision). Charlotte Perelli will represent Sweden this year and I think shell do a great job! :) Playing Me reached number two on “Digilistan” today which is FANTASTIC!!! It feels amazing, and “there’s no way to describe how I’m feeling inside”. Hehe! I took loads of pictures on Ireland, and when I found my camera cable to transfer them to the computer I realized that the lens was all dirty and that all the pictures had turned out blurry. I’ll try to get some good ones taken in Stockholm though. Hope you’re all doing great. I’ll be back home on Thursday, so everything will be back to normal after that. Thank you all soo much for the incredible work you’re putting down!

6 March 2008 - TOP 5!!!!
The weekly Swedish charts were published today and Playing me made it to number 4!!! Thank you soo much! :) The new Swedish top list was published today, and guess what, PLAYING ME MADE IT TO NR 4! It feels amazing, I'm so happy!!! I've got such support from all of you, thanks a million. As I said, it feels unbelievable :) The past week has been full of new things for me abroad. I've written a couple of scripts for "Glendas Showbiz Gossip" (a gossip show on Bubble Hits), I've been able to record a little presentation myself and so on. It's cool to see how everything works. Once again, thank you so much.

29 February 2008 - Number One!
Hey! I just wanted to say thanks for your incredible support and thank you for all you've done to get "Playing Me" on the Swedish charts! At the moment Playing Me is number one on Cdon's single top list, it jumps between first and second place on Itunes and entered "Hitlistan" at 21! It feels incredible and a bit unreal, so thanks a million! I hope you love the song even more now that you can hear all of it!!!

25 February 2008 - Update from Ireland
The sales of the single is going great, it's nr 1 on Cdon's chart at the moment and is in the top 15 on Itunes. I gave you the wrong store for ordering the single outside of Sweden, the right one is www.megastore.se. Sorry about that.. The single sales are going great, they really are. As I said, it's on both Cdon's and Itunes charts. Stores all around Sweden are now ordering in the single and it's all because of you guys. Thanks a million! I can't describe how thankful I am for this :) I wrote out the wrong store for ordering the single to outside of Sweden, the right one should have been www.megastore.se, direct link under this article. I'm doing a five week working experience here on Ireland. Right now I'm working at Bubble Hits which is an Irish music tv-station broadcasting in both Ireland and the UK (373 on Sky) http://www.bubblehits.co.uk/. This weekend I went to Limerick to watch Donal compete in the Irish Eurosong 2008. He didn't win it this time, but he did great and he had looaaads of support :) Tonight I'm going up to Belfast to see Westlife. 20 February 2008 - New Single!!!!
My new single is released, I've got a brand new website out and my new video is on youtube! Today, the 20th of February is the release date of my brand new single "Playing Me". You can order it from www.cdon.com (you can also download it from this site). I'ts also avalible on www.megastore.se and www.ginza.se. It will also be in stock in cd-stores all around Sweden! Please ask for the single in your local cd-store if they don't have it. Also ask radio stations to play the song :) I'm so incredibly thankful for all you help, you guys have been amazing really! Without you this would not have been possible!!!!! Take a look at my brand new video too! It's under "videos" in the top menu and on www.youtube.com if you search for "Playing Me". I worked with amazing people during the recording and i am sooo happy
