Jonathan Fagerlund from Jönköping in Sweden, is not just your average teenager. He is an amazingly talented 17 year old boy and one of music’s brightest upcoming stars. In spite of his incredibly young age he is extremely experienced on stage, both vocally and visually. As part of his wealth of experience Jonathan spent a year performing with an Irish boy band. During his time as a member, Jonathan performed across Europe and the USA. As time went on Jonathan left the group as it did not develop the way he had hoped for. When he made the move back to Sweden a new contact was established with the producer Samuel Waermö, who he worked with previously. Hit maker, Samuel is a producer and song writer who has been behind over 15 songs that have went on to become number one hits worldwide. He has also produced six songs on music legend Jon Bon Jovie’s album “Bounce & lonely no more”. Samuel was not the first to notice that Jonathan had stunning potential with his amazingly rich voice, good looks and charisma, so it was an obvious decision to produce his solo album. Many of the worlds most appreciated song writers have contributed songs for this album, including Andreas Carlsson (Celine Dion, Britney Spears) and Savan Kotecha (West Life, Carrie Underwood). Jonathan’s music could be described as “A young James Blunt meets Take That”. The intensely emotional yet still hopeful first solo single, "Angeline", has just been completed and is set to capture your heart. His second single, Playing me, is about to be released in February.Jonathan's first studio album is currently receiving its finishing touches and is set for release later this year. 15. JULY, 2008 - HOME AND GOING ON TOUR!
Heeey! How are things with you? I've been home for a few days now but things are craaazy just before the tour begins. I'm unbelievably excited and I really hope that you feel the same! I know a lot of you are doing everything you can to come see this summer and I'm really flattered by the work you put down in it. I do however know that not everyone will be able to do so, and we've decided to have a video-blog to update all of you during the tour! 4. JULY, 2008 - ITALY!
How are you doing? I’m in Italy now (or well, actually in Croatia at the moment), but with this weather I’m wondering if this might be heaven. Me and my family spent a couple of days in Rome first and now were on a cruise to see some more of Italy/Croatia. I’ve uploaded just a couple of pictures now (cause the internet is reeaaally slow so I’ll upload more when I get home) which you can find in the gallery. I’ll fly back home the 10th of July and my summer tour with Nickelodeon starts the 17th of July in Gothenburg! I’ll upload the tour plan as soon as possible. Heey! How are you all doing? Im doing great, ive been rehearsing with the dancers for the summer tour which im proud to present is going to be with Nickelodeon! It feels great to actually get to go on tour, its a dream come true.. Thank you all! Before that however im going on a holiday to Italy which will be really exciting, ive never been there before. 11. JUNE, 2008 - ITUNES AND TOUR!
Hello! Hope youre doing great! As you might have noticed i had my first gig in Jönköping last saturday. It was awesome! I can now break the news that im going on a THREE WEEK TOUR THIS SUMMER! How cool is that? I'll visit loads of places all over Sweden, i can't tell you more right now but it will all be out soon enough. I will be going on a holiday the 24th of June, so i might not be as active on myspace for a while after that, but i'll upload loads of pictures! 14. MAY, 2008 - VIDEOSHOOT!
Hello people!!! I hope you're doing great. I've been in Stockholm the past few days for my new videoshoot which took place yesterday! It's gonna be a great video! Hehe ;) I'll upload some pictures from it as soon as I get them.

16. MARCH, 2008 - BACK IN SWEDEN!!!
Hey! I flew back from Ireland two days ago and I’m now in Stockholm to finish my working experience in Storm Studios. Last night myself and a couple of friends went to see Melodifestivalen (the national final in Eurovision). Charlotte Perelli will represent Sweden this year and I think shell do a great job! :) Playing Me reached number two on “Digilistan” today which is FANTASTIC!!! It feels amazing, and “there’s no way to describe how I’m feeling inside”. Hehe! I took loads of pictures on Ireland, and when I found my camera cable to transfer them to the computer I realized that the lens was all dirty and that all the pictures had turned out blurry. I’ll try to get some good ones taken in Stockholm though. Hope you’re all doing great. I’ll be back home on Thursday, so everything will be back to normal after that. 6. MARCH, 2008 - TOP 5!!!!
The weekly Swedish charts were published today and Playing me made it to number 4!!! Thank you soo much! :) The new Swedish top list was published today, and guess what, PLAYING ME MADE IT TO NR 4! It feels amazing, I'm so happy!!! I've got such support from all of you, thanks a million. As I said, it feels unbelievable :) The past week has been full of new things for me abroad. I've written a couple of scripts for "Glendas Showbiz Gossip" (a gossip show on Bubble Hits), I've been able to record a little presentation myself and so on. It's cool to see how everything works. The sales of the single is going great, it's nr 1 on Cdon's chart at the moment and is in the top 15 on Itunes. My new single is released, I've got a brand new website out and my new video is on youtube! Today, the 20th of February is the release date of my brand new single "Playing Me".
