Born and raised on the beautiful plains of Saskatchewan Canada, Julia Voth's dreams were bigger than the land of the living skies. From the humble beginnings of playing in front of the family camera she has come to grace billboards worldwide as a top fashion model and now actress. While still in junior high school Julia was offered her first modeling contract in Tokyo. It was there in early 2002, Julia was selected to be the face of Resident Evil’s iconic character “Jill Valentine”. Developed by leading gaming company CAPCOM, Resident evil was a block buster sensation, selling millions of copies world wide and bringing even wider success then ever before. She worked in Tokyo and in NYC until moving to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue acting. She signed with the prestigious agency CESD and immediately started working for names like Guess. Soon after she signed with the theatrical division of CESD and on her 5th audition she booked her first movie, the lead in the soon-to-be cult classic “Bitch Slap,” a thinking man’s throw back to the exploitation films of the 1950’s – 70’s. Julia plays “Trixie,” a beautiful, naive, down-on-her-luck stripper with a heart of gold. Not missing a beat, she delivered with the truth and timing of a pro. The film is scheduled for release in summer 2009. Shortly after, she was offered a role in "Fame Fatale," a mini movie for designer Tara Subcoff of BEBE. This is the first online campaign of it kind for BEBE. It is film noir meets fashion. In the fall of 2008 Julia filmed her next movie, "Love Hurts" a Barra Grant film. It stars Carrie Ann Moss as Amanda and Julia plays Young Amanda, 20 years ago. It is a romantic comedy about love, life, and how we can lose sight of the ones we love. She will next be leading as Shelly in the romantic comedy “The Anniversary”, written and directed by John Campea. Her performance is simply endearing and captures the screen. It is her passion, commitment and hard work that has helped her make her mark. Julia has a month in “The Sexiest Women of 2009” and “The Best Thing to Happen to 2009” MAXIM calendars. She has worked with Calvin Klein, Shu Umera, Wacoal, Suntory, and Aerosmith (for Japan.) She has been in numerous television commercials for Spike TV’s 2008 Video Game awards, Uniqlo jeans, and Asahi drink. Her Magazine work in America includes Noise, Foam (Cover Spring 2008), More, Angeleno, Wedding Style, LA Direct, and Eliza. Her beauty is inside and out, but it’s her obvious talent that makes Julia Voth the breakout talent to watch for
