Kaci has been singing since she was three years old. By the time she was eight KACI was a well known vocalist locally, doing many performances, including singing the National Anthem for the Florida Governor, Vice President of the United States, Florida Congressman, and the New York Yankees. She mastered other styles of music, including Jazz, Country, Broadway and Pop. With the help of family and friends KACI even made an album called "A Thousand stars"; the proceeds went to charity.
At the meager age of eleven, KACI was already in the process of negotiating record deals. At twelve she was signed by Mike Curb to Curb Records. At thirteen she had her first top ten international hit "Paradise" produced by Brian Rawlings, quickly followed by two other high-charting international hits, "I Think I Love You"(also a top ten hit) and "Tu Amor".
Subsequently, she was featured on many TV shows including MTV, Top of the Pops, CD: UK, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, Disney, guest hosting with Christina Milian and Solange for the Teen Choice Awards and independently for Nickelodeon, Extra Extra, Pop Jam, Live & Kicking, Fox and Friends National News, CBS Morning News, Jerry Lewis Telethon, and many more. While in Magazines internationally you could find her in Teen People, Teen, YM, Cosmo Girl, Sixteen, Bravo, Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, Top of the Pops, Bop, Blast, Live & Kicking, Sugar, as well as the cover of Network 40 and Shout… just to name a few.
These appearances coincided with touring and performance engagements alongside many of the worlds most prominent pop artists, including but not limited to, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, Bow Wow, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls), Atomic Kittens, Blue, S Club 7, Geri Halliwell, A1, Samantha Mumba, ect. As well as opening for the Backstreet Boys, and O-town during their success with "All or Nothing". Once she returned home, KACI a Tampa native was asked to create a music video using "Paradise" this video opened the Superbowl in ‘04, followed by a Pepsi sponsored US tour and many football Bowl halftime shows and National Anthem performances.
KACI has a passion for talent-expansion: Her competitive drive and intelligence compels the young starlet to focus on the task at hand until she is an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. For example, it was not until after KACI finished the promotion of her first album "I'm Not Anybody's Girl", that she began writing her own songs. She experimented with various sounds including singer/songwriter and hard rock. Quickly, KACI gained credibility and connections, working alongside the best writers and producers- including Rob Cavallo and Guy Roche.
The time of reckoning began during a chance meeting between Gary Salzman of BIG Management and KACI at a Miami gathering during the Winter Music Conference. It was a perfect match from the start! KACI, with all the makings of a star; Gary, with his vast knowledge of the music industry. Together, everything is within reach.
