BIO: Born in Seoul, South Korea, dynamic up-and-coming actress and singer/songwriter 'Kelseylee' was adopted at three months old by her quoted, "incredible parents" Patrick and Patricia Fleming. She was raised in Kennewick, Washington USA where she developed an immediate passion for the arts. Kelseylee's dynamic, faith based and substance filled vocals combine forces with the harmony of pop culture, secular and non-secular music. "I'm here to convey unspoken thoughts, unveil emotions and delve into the Truths that society has [attempted to] silence; while giving glory to the One who gave it all. There is nothing more fulfilling to me than sharing the love of Jesus, and giving praise to he, Himself." Whether theater, dance, cheerleading, film, music, writing, or the equestrian show ring, she has always been persistent in bettering her craft. Although her background, from the age of five, was saturated with performance history and artistic development, her career accelerated in 2005 after winning several acting and singing awards at the International Modeling & Talent Convention in New York City, USA. Shortly after, in fall of 2005, she made a spontaneous decision to move to Seattle to be closer to her acting and singing coaches. The next three years were both enduring and rewarding as she continued to develop her resume as a working model, vocalist and actress. Early fall of 2008, she made the transition to Los Angeles, California, where she is in the continuance of diligently studying film, music and the Word of God. Her live performance roster is already showing great efforts and dedication, as she has performed at the Future American Music Award Stars Showcase in Beverly Hills, as well as opening for several National artists in Hollywood at venues such as the Knitting Factory and Key Club.
Aside from following her dreams, she is constantly entwined in a tremendous amount of other activity. She has always been avidly involved in scads of hobbies, such as training and showing horses; anti-equine slaughter awareness; youth ministries; dance; cheerleading; fitness/figure competitions; personal training; nutritional consulting; and freelance writing. Her plate has always been full, and it doesn’t appear that the load will lighten at any time soon. “I have always been passionate about what I'm doing- it’s a part of who I am. I am in this industry because I never had a choice- I'm called to be here; I'm reminded of this, often." Her vision as a role model in the entertainment industry has proven to be a demanding effort- as she states, "I will not compromise who I am, and where I've come from to get to where I'm going. It's unfortunate that so many [people] lose sight of what's truly important during their journey in this industry. We all have a purpose, and mine is to stand for something bigger than myself while reaching hearts all over the world."
I believe we will fail before we will truly succeed, be humbled before we can carry pride, and without faith- we have nothing.
The 'finer things in my life' are not itemized by price or materialism- rather those that are memorable and genuine.
Don't forget that it's okay to admit we stumble when we're strong, we stumble when we're weak; we are humanity, after all.
Keep in mind that if we are persistent in the Lord, He will be persistent in manifesting the desires of our hearts! My statement is proven consistently through the good works, opportunity, and success graciously allotted in my own life. His blessings surely do not end with me- ask and you will receive!
