"Mattison is a seventeen year old singer & entertainer originally from the surrounding suburbs of Philadelphia. She began training weekly with iconic New Jersey vocal coach Sal Dupree at the age of thirteen, and has been indulging her passion for singing and performing ever since. 'The world will see that she has one of the best voices of all-time,' notes Dupree. Also an aspiring professional model, dancer, actress, writer, songwriter, and humanitarian/world activist, among other things, Mattison is determined to be a legendary superstar, in every sense of the word.

Born in Oxford, a rural countryside area of Pennsylvania, Mattison was surrounded by music much of the time. Despite the constant commitment to their business, Mattison's salon owner/hairstylist parents, Alice & Bob Wilcox, immediately began introducing her to many different styles of music. As soon as Mattison could speak, she was singing. During these early years, one of her favorite songs to perform was Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York.' The Beatles, David Bowie, and many other iconic artists were also staples of the household.

In 1997, Mattison moved from Oxford to her current residence, which is very close to the city, as well as NYC and Jersey. On the weekends, Mattison was not allowed to stay home alone while her parents ran their business, and in turn, she had to go camping with her grandparents. Spring Gulch Campground was the first place in which Mattison performed. Every weekend, there was a dance night and a karaoke night, and upon this discovery, Mattison felt instantly at home. Her first karaoke performances included 'Genie In A Bottle,' by Christina Aguilera, 'Candy,' by Mandy Moore, 'My Heart Will Go On,' by Celine Dion, and other classic songs by Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, etc. Mattison was always singing and dancing, and she had the time of her life during these performances. Mattison was also an avid fan of the TV channel, 'The Box,' and she loved to study, observe, and emulate her favorite stars such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson, The Backstreet Boys, N*SYNC, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Eminem, Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey, and more.

At home, Mattison performed in local talent shows; during every vacation, she also made sure to participate in karaoke if it was offered. At age 9, after performing a popular Jessica Simpson song in a Disney Cruise Talent Show, the host told Mattison that she should have a job as a singer on the cruise line. Throughout the years, Mattison practiced singing & performance skills on her karaoke machine, and every year, her Halloween costume consisted of a headset microphone and sky-high heels. It had always seemed obvious to Mattison that she was going to be a singer, and with each new performance, Mattison's vivacity, excitement, and passion increased. Soon after, she discovered modeling and had her first professional photos taken. Mattison knew that her love for the arts extended past singing because she was a natural at modeling, probably from years of posing in front of the mirror! Mattison knew that all of this was a sign of a big change...

Mary Anne Claro, owner of the Mary Anne Claro Talent Agency in South Philadelphia, was a close friend and client of Alice Wilcox. Mattison went to the agency after her first photos were taken, and she was immediately referred to her vocal coach (Dupree). She has been studying, practicing, and training with him profusely since then. Mattison has grown and evolved exponentially throughout these past three years - she has worked extremely hard to purify her style, her vocals, her looks, her personality, and her spirit, and be the best version of herself that she can be.

Toward the end of 8th grade, Mattison had to be homeschooled due to a painful health issue. In time, she was on her way back to perfect health, but so much time had passed and she was more than ready to get back into the entertainment world. Within the next year, Mattison met Roy 'Royalty' Hamilton, world-renowned producer (Britney Spears, N*SYNC, Michael Jackson, R.Kelly, etc.), and began working with him. She is currently continuing her demo project with him, and the two of them have huge plans! Mattison is currently recording cover and original songs in the studio as well, and she is doing as many modeling jobs as she can. Mattison has participated in a lot of professional acting classes, and dance classes are on her agenda as too. She has a collection of songs that she has written, and she will continue to write (songs and otherwise). Mattison knows that she is going to break into the business in a dynamic way! At this time, Mattison is in 11th grade at a Cyber School, and she really enjoys the process of learning and being homeschooled. She is able to do everything that she loves, such as be active, productive, and busy, because of her flexible schedule.

I am extremely persistent, and I will not rest until I achieve all of the things that I want to achieve in this life. That includes being a woman of great strength, wisdom, self-respect, self-love, and innovative power. More people will be made aware of the positive energy inside of them that can help them do ANYTHING,' Mattison has said. She knows it's her time, and she wants you to listen. She wants to open your eyes and have you walk away with a whole new perspective. This is Mattison's story, but it is far from complete. It certainly won't tell you everything about her, and the future has yet to be established... so keep watching, because you're about to see a legend unfold before your very eyes."

Yeah its always been a dream for me to move to LA. Every since I was a lil kid and seen the movie Lost Boys and how much fun it looked like those vampired had lol. I mean I would be such a metalhead and driveing my dirtbike up and down the beaches all day. NYC would be cool also but its kinda cold there you know?!!!!!
