From a very early age, the parents of Mark “Miz” Rogers knew that they had a bundle of talent on their hands. The young rapper and songwriter was always found at his karaoke machine, writing and singing his own creations. This skill landed the young performer, known at the time as Mark “Vishus” Rogers, an appearance on national television’s Jenny Jones talk show as a child prodigy.

Others were interested in the unique presence of Miz. In 1995, he was recruited as a model for an Atlanta fashion show. He was then invited to New York for additional work, but his passion remained with songwriting and performing. Careful guidance and discipline provided by two successful parents helped Miz turned his passion into excellence.
