March, 1998. In their journey to further pursue their musical ambitions, preparations were put in place for a move to Nashville, Tennessee. A few months later, co-founders Inga Brittingham and Kris Casamento would meet in Music City and begin collaborating on songs for a project that would later become Naked Beggars.
Everything began to take shape in 2002 when an extensive amount of song material had been compiled. The first incarnation of the band was ready to begin recording songs for the release of their debut album. The endorsement of Eric Brittingham as producer and engineer made an immediate impact on the recording effort.
Two years later, Eric Brittingham and Jeff LaBar joined forces full time with Naked Beggars. The band has since released two CD’s in a three-year span: their self-titled debut in 2004 followed by their 2006 release of “Spit it Out”. The unbridled energy and undeniable talent of Naked Beggars has and continues to make an immediate impact trailing ardent new fans in their wake.
Fronted by Inga Brittingham, who captivates audiences with her energetic performance style and intense vocals, the songs are confidently delivered with a Stones-like swagger. Her ability to deliver a dynamic performance can clearly be heard on songs like Whats The Question, Open Eyes and Fallen, while the angst-laden lyrics of Lies and Bitch illustrate the tenacity of her personality. In a modern musical climate where emphasis is on talent, style and marketability, Inga possesses the entire package.
Together with solid songwriting ability, Kris Casamento adds his own brand of blues-inspired guitar to the bands music. Constantly offering up new material, his style runs the gamut from melodic to raunchy. Soulful and raw, Kris natural feel adds fluidity to a high-octane performance.
In addition to all of his studio contributions, inspired bass lines, and magnetic stage presence; Eric Brittingham brings his impressive musical resume and overall expertise to the band. With his earlier multi-platinum success in rock-n-roll, his presence brings experience garnered from his already proven success.
Attitude, passion, and tremendous skill are just a few ingredients to describe the drumming of Lisa Rav. Born into a musical family, Lisa has sunk her teeth into touring, recording, and further developing her musical expertise for 17 years and counting. She is a hard-hitting, visual performer whose tasteful playing ability will leave you craving more.
The band has continued to evolve & refine both the live performances, songwriting, & recording. This evolution has allowed Naked Beggars to create a unique sound in the sea of contemporary rock.

They just announced that Harmonix has a tool to for bands to get themselves into the game. The "hair metal" threads on their forums are some of the most popular (though also the most ignored by the delevopers). With this new tool you can get your material into the game...I'd LOVE to be able to play along with your songs and see you introduced to a whole new crop of fans! Spread the word and lets get a TON of classic metal into Rock Band!
