BEGINNER'S CLASS INFORMATION

The Ohio Valley Wrestling Beginner's Class is the best way to begin a career in the professional wrestling industry. Lead by Nick Dinsmore, former WWE Superstar and current OVW Heavyweight Champion, this thirteen week course will get you ready to move on to the OVW Intermediate Class and eventually to OVW Television and beyond. The class has 26 total sessions and is held every Monday and Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Beginner's Class will test you both physically and mentally as you learn basic wrestling techniques, basic psychology, bumping, and most importantly, safety.

Although no prior training is required, professional wrestling is a cardio-intensive sport and it would behoove anyone wishing to become involved in wrestling to be in the best cardio shape possible.

Class Requirements are as follows: the Beginner's Class costs $750 (payable in cash, check or money order). This tuition is due on the first day of class and must be paid in full. You must be at least 18 years old in order to enroll. You also must acquire a Kentucky State Wrestling License before you will be allowed in the ring. You can visit the Kentucky Boxing & Wrestling Authority in person or fill out the application and send it in.
