About me:
PATRICK CASSIDY recently appeared on Broadway as Julian Marsh in 42nd Street. Other Broadway credits include Elton John's Aida (including the national tour, winning the 2002 National Broadway Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Touring Musical), Annie Get Your Gun opposite Cheryl Ladd, Pirates of Penzance and Leader of the Pack. He originated the role of the Balladeer in Stephen Sondheim's Assassins at Playwrights Horizons and appeared in Lady in the Dark at City Center's Encores!
National tours include the '05-06 Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (as Joseph) as well as many roles regionally at Ford's Theatre, Hartford Stage and The Williamstown Theatre Festival. In Los Angeles, Patrick has starred in such Reprise! shows as Company (as Bobby) with Carol Burnett, Love Letters and Assassins.
In addition to theater and concerts (Carnegie Hall), Patrick's many film roles include Longtime Companion, I'll Do Anything and Burning Love. On television, he starred in the TV miniseries Dress Grey (Emmy nomination), Napoleon & Josephine, Oklahoma City, "Something in Common and Follow Your Heart. Television series include Dirty Dancing, Smallville, Law & Order SVU, Crossing Jordan, Without a Trace, According to Jim and The Agency.
For the first time, Patrick has put together a one man show reminiscing about growing up as part of the famous Cassidy family; his dad Jack, his mother Shirley and brothers David, Shawn and Ryan. Featuring great Hollywood stories, memorable songs and humorous anecdotes, Patrick's beautiful voice and leading man looks will please audiences of all ages.
He is the son of actors Shirley Jones and the late Jack Cassidy, and the brother of David Cassidy, Shaun Cassidy and Ryan Cassidy. Patrick is married to dancer Melissa Hurley Cassidy and they are the proud parents of Cole and Jack Cassidy.
