Pop It Off Boyz are a rap trio, based in the Midwest. They stepped onto the scene in 2007 with "Crank Dat Batman", an infectious party track that lead the charts on 106 & Park, land the #51 spot on BET's "Notarized: Top 100 Videos of 2007" and was even performed by the Ohio State University marching band at halftime. After a 3 year hiatus, P.O.B. is back with a 25 track mixtape entitled "V L N SC" being released early 2012. "V L N SC" stands for Violence, Language, Nudity and Sexual Content, a major difference from previous material being discussed. Featured tracks include "Elastic", "Hit Da Curb" and "Do It Like Me". Due to their overwhelming online success, a viral campaign is underway to reconnect with fans and introduce a more mature sound. "Previously, fans wanted that young, bubble gum type of sound... now that everyone is older we're turning it up". Members include Lil Action, Banga, Young Boe and formerly C.G. Past success lead the Boyz to a development deal with Universal Records, which turned out to be unrewarding. Currently in the horizon, P.O.B. plans to "continue making music that pleases established fans while opening the doors to new opportunities as well."
