About me: The Richmond SPCA is one of the largest no-kill humane societies in the country, and we are dedicated to the guiding principle that every life is precious.
Since our founding in 1891, we have been proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply about our companion animals and is dedicated to alleviating their suffering and saving their lives.
As a national leader in animal welfare, we place around 3,000 homeless animals in loving homes each year, spay or neuter over 12,000 (!) dogs and cats, deliver more than 15,000 hours of humane education and rehabilitate more than 2,000 sick and injured orphaned pets annually.
Adoption Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday
Address: 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond VA 23220
