Toolez is no stranger to hard work or the big stage. With performances alongside Kanye West, Ludacris, Jim Jones, Trina, Lil Boosie, Apathy, and T.I., fans can rightfully say his stage presence is that of an icon in the making. Despite being unsigned, he has collaborated with notable stars such as Gillie Da Kid, Stat Quo, H Town’s Dom GI, Mateo and Obie Trice. Toolez has appeared on popular radio stations in New York City, Hartford and Philadelphia. He interviewed on New York’s XFM radio with DJ Chuck Chillout on 66 RAW and Hartford’s top urban radio station, Hot 93.7 with K Dub and DJ Bigg Mann. As his popularity grew from street corner freestyler to 2004 NCAA National Champion, to lyrical phenomenon, the Toolez brand has become more profitable landing him spots in The Daily Campus, Slam Magazine, Music Choice, The New York Post, The Daily Local, and Dimepiece Magazines national launch issue.
Toolez has the advantage of appealing to wide audience without difficulty. He has had the unique opportunity of living in diverse cultural and economic environments. Armed with the experiences and knowledge learned from exposures ranging from the African American based hoods of Pennsylvania to the Caucasian filled campuses of a major University, Toolez understands every aspect of the new generation which is evident in his music.
