I think it is more than enough to ask God to make me into the people/persons that I want to attract in my life, and I certainly want to be the right woman for that special man that I WILL meet in my future. *********************************************** I was the 5th place finalist on AMERICAN IDOL season 2 and now looking forward to expressing my individuality as a singer/songwriter,writer, model, actress, producer, spokesperson, and founder of a performing arts school in my hometown of Memphis TN. .. ************************************************ I have put some of this talent to use already by starring in the David E Talbert production "LOVE IN THE NICK OF TYME" starring MORRIS CHESTNUT, R&B singer/songwriter AVANT, and Ms ELLIA ENGLISH (Aunt Helen)of the Jamie Foxx Show... I was also in the musical production of DREAMGIRLS in Indianapolis as the lead.. Ms. Deena Jones (the Diana Ross character), the lead in the hit play based on E Lynn Harris' Book "Not A Day Goes By" with the same name. My very first experience on the set of a movie was being a cameo star in Queen Latifah's BEAUTY SHOP, where I met one of my favorite African American female actresses, Ms Alfre Woodard! One thing I am proud of is being the very first American Idol to headline in Vegas as the star in the Ultimate Variety Show, "V" and also sold out every night with two shows at the CASBAR THEATER LOUNGE in the Sahara Hotel with my show called LATE NIGHT IDOL. I toured with the show "Mama's Sweet Potato Pie" co-produced and directed by Nicci Gilbert of the group, Brownstone and starred in Nicci's production called SOUL KITTENS CABARET starring: SYLEENA JOHNSON, TATYANA ALI, MONIFAH AND ANGIE STONE...along with some more VERY talented VERY beautiful young ladies from Detroit,Chicago and Maryland. We had a great time getting to know one another and shared many industry and personal stories that forever bonded us all...LOVE U LADIES! I performed in Moscow, Russia on my birthday and had a "decent" time...Russia is NOT a place to live..perform and get the hell outta there! LOL I enjoy playing with my little dog NUNU when I am not on the road. It is amazing what an animal can do for you...He is the light I needed in my life with his human-like outgoing personality! :0) I look forward to being one of the most successful Idol Finalists that did NOT get signed by them by following in God's order...That is what is most important to me. I have always wanted to stand before a full house of artists, actors and the like in entertainment and say without ANY discretion that the awards that I receive were given to be based on my blood, sweat and tears and not because I degraded myself. I feel my goals are very obtainable as long as I keep God first, along with positive friends and family in my life to balance it all out so that I remain grounded. Anything else you wanna know?
