The music is hard to define and each song is never played exactly the same as any time before. Each member brings different musical elements to the band including Rock 'n' Roll, Funk, Jazz, Blues, Trance, Latin, Groove, Electronic and Psychedelia that create a unique sound that their audience loves. With new additions to the band, Under the Sun is quickly gaining attention and making their mark on the Festival scene. Creative and Inspiring Elements are always present with Under the Sun which gives each show a unique energy that audiences will hold on to. .. .. Under the Sun has had the pleasure of playing shows with many amazing musical artists such as Lotus, Ekoostik Hookah, Keller Williams, Gov't Mule, Micheal Franti, Zack Deputy, the Werks, Papadosio, the Macpodz, One Under, The Ragbirds, Jahman Brahman, Boogie Matrix, Romeo Champagne, Skeleton Crew and many others! .. .. Members of Under the Sun also organize the Peace Through Music Festival every year at the Zane Shawnee Caverns in Bellefontaine Ohio. (www.myspace.com/peacethrumusicfest) The festival is a benefit for the Shawnee URB and the Zane Shawnee Caverns. Our goal for the festival is to promote diverse live music and give people a weekend of Peace through Music. .. .. If the Grateful Dead and P-Funk had a baby, and if the String Cheese Incident and Jimi Hendrix had a baby, then those 2 baby's grew up and had a baby, Under the Sun would be that baby.
